The Westport Arts Center has announced the theme of Martini Madness for its annual fundraiser gala that will take place on Saturday, May 20, 2017 at the Fairfield County Hunt Club in Westport, CT. Tickets will go on sale March 2, 2017.

The Westport Arts Center is known for hosting imaginative and artistically rich galas, and Martini Madness will continue this tradition in 2017.
Martini Madness will pay tribute to the role Westport played during the creative heyday of the 1950s and 1960s, celebrating Westport's distinctive identity as a creative center steeped in a long history of artists, illustrators and creative executives. Guests will be immersed in the iconic advertising created during this period, which continues to be recognized in both pop culture and contemporary art today.

The event is co-chaired by Orly Angerthal and Erika Miller. Both Angerthal and Miller are Westport Arts Center Board Members and reside in Westport, CT.

Angerthal lives in Westport with her husband and two children. She has had a distinguished professional career including the Prime Brokerage unit of Morgan Stanley and Westport-based Pequot Capital. She Chairs the COO/CFO Peer Advisory Council and is an active member of the 100 Women in Hedge Funds Organization. She serves on many local committees and Boards in addition to the Westport Arts Center, where she currently heads up the Education Committee.
Angerthal explained, "Art has historically been the heartbeat of Westport and I think it's important to be a part of keeping the history and cultural diversity alive. We look forward to celebrating the arts with our community at the Martini Madness gala!”

Co-Chair Erika Miller’s passion for the arts has kept her actively involved with arts organizations throughout New York City and Fairfield County over the past fifteen years. In addition to serving as a Board Member for the Westport Arts Center over the last four years, she has been actively involved in the Arts Center’s Education and Outreach programs.

Miller has had an extensive career in Internet marketing, and currently serves as a strategic account executive at Westport-based Awareness Technologies. She lives in Westport with her two children who are also arts enthusiasts.

“I am thrilled to be involved with the Martini Madness gala,” remarked Miller. “We are excited to celebrate the Westport Arts Center through the lens of this artistic era that was once so deeply vibrant in our community. We look forward to a celebratory evening filled with great friends, music, art and entertainment.”

The annual fundraiser gala plays a significant role in supporting Westport Arts Center’s arts and outreach programs in Westport and the greater Fairfield County community.
